Pulse One — Sculptural Keyboard

Pulse One reimagines the mechanical keyboard as a sculptural object for the modern workspace. Instead of concealing technology within anonymous housings, it presents the keyboard as a crafted centerpiece—an object that brings clarity, reflection, and calm to the act of typing.
The design began with generative modeling, optimizing internal geometry for strength and material efficiency, then refined through digital sculpting to achieve soft transitions and visual balance. Its 3D metal-printed shell, finished in reflective metallic tones, merges palm rest, frame, and bezel into one continuous body.
Beneath its calm exterior lies advanced functionality. A CNC-machined internal plate delivers structural precision, while a hot-swappable PCB supports tri-mode connectivity—wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz wireless—with an 8,000 Hz polling rate for instantaneous response. Customizable RGB backlighting allows subtle illumination or expressive color, adapting the object to different moods and spaces. Compatible with Mac and Windows and programmable through VIA software, Pulse One balances professional performance with sculptural refinement.
The keyboard’s modular design allows individual components to be maintained or upgraded, extending its lifespan and reducing waste. Every surface, curve, and acoustic tone was tuned to create a sense of composure and presence on the desk.
