This cat litter box reinterprets the poetic spatial language of Suzhou classical gardens through a contemporary lens, transforming an everyday pet-care object into an elegant piece of cultural design. Drawing from key architectural elements such as the curved Xieshan-style roof, the circular moon gate, and the intricate ice-crack lattice pattern, the product harmoniously balances tradition, aesthetics, and modern usability. It is not only a functional litter box; it is a miniature garden pavilion designed for the quiet rituals of a cat’s daily life.
The soft, upward-curving roof is inspired by the iconic silhouettes of Suzhou garden pavilions. Traditionally, these roofs create a sense of openness and flow between nature and architecture. Translated into this design, the curved top provides a comfortable lounging platform for cats while visually evoking the elegance and serenity of ancient Chinese roofs. It becomes a peaceful perch where cats can rest, observe, and feel elevated—much like a pavilion overlooking a garden.
The entrance adopts the signature round “moon gate,” a classical garden element that frames views, guides movement, and creates a sense of transition. This circular opening welcomes the cat with a gesture of gentle invitation, symbolizing the passage between interior and exterior spaces. The smooth curves also enhance ergonomic entry, making it easy for cats to step in and out.
