The soft, upward-curving roof is inspired by the iconic silhouettes of Suzhou garden pavilions. Traditionally, these roofs create a sense of openness and flow between nature and architecture. Translated into this design, the curved top provides a comfortable lounging platform for cats while visually evoking the elegance and serenity of ancient Chinese roofs. The entrance adopts the signature round “moon gate,” a classical garden element that frames views, guides movement, and creates a sense of transition. This circular opening welcomes the cat with a gesture of gentle invitation, symbolizing the passage between interior and exterior spaces. The smooth curves also enhance ergonomic entry, making it easy for cats to step in and out.
