Within a 69.4 square meters interior, the designer was tasked with reconciling two contrasting visions of living: the host’s affinity for the order of modern luxury defined by stone, and the hostess’ desire for a warm home where a child can move freely. A strategy of reduction was adopted, dissolving the original three-bedroom layout and liberating the space into an open living–dining–kitchen area. This expansive public domain not only maximizes natural light from the high-rise setting, but also allows the kitchen island and living room to function as a continuous platform for family interaction. The primary visual axis extends from the TV wall to the corridor’s end
view. Instead of heavy natural stone, handcrafted artistic coatings create seamless, cloud-like stone pattern. Through layered processes that trace mineral veins, joint lines are eliminated, allowing the walls to express calm, grounded textures under shifting light. Curved ceiling forms mitigate the visual pressure of beams and equipment, while wood flooring weaves balance into the overall composition.
