The "Jinxiu Tianfu Express" is a luxury train that masterfully blends Eastern aesthetics, regional culture, and a five-star hospitality experience. Drawing inspiration from the ancient Shu civilization and the World Heritage sites of Southwest China, the design incorporates motifs such as Sanxingdui artifacts, the bamboo seas of Western Sichuan, hibiscus flowers, and ginkgo leaves throughout its spaces, creating a unique experience that is both culturally profound and aesthetically contemporary. The project features two distinct journey ambiences—"Starlit Majesty" (dark-themed) and "Serene Morning Light" (light-themed). These different color strategies work in harmony with the spatial design to manifest the spiritual realm of the "Tranquil Orient." Spanning 17 carriages, from guest suites and dining cars to the tea lounge and bar, each space integrates nature, craftsmanship, and culture into a cohesive whole. Walls and partitions echo the layered forms of a bamboo sea, while floor and carpet patterns are inspired by the continuous motifs of ginkgo leaves and hibiscus flowers. Art installations draw from the iconic Sanxingdui gold masks and the traditional beam structures of Western Sichuan residences. A rich tapestry of materials—including wood carvings, stone inlays, metal accents, lacquerware, bamboo weaving, and art glass—is interwoven to construct a multi-layered Eastern visual experience. The dark-themed spaces use rosewood and metallic sheens to evoke a sense of a "Noble Orient," while the light-themed spaces employ blue, green, and cyan hues to convey an atmosphere of "Serene Nature." The core philosophy of the "Jinxiu Tianfu Express" is the "Tranquil Orient"—a way of life that is unhurried, modest, and in harmony with nature. Inspired by the geographical spirit of Chengdu as the "Land of Abundance," the design uses nature as its foundation, culture as its framework, and craftsmanship as its lifeblood to create a tangible and immersive Eastern narrative. This design language of "stillness in motion" is not only reflected in the spatial layout but also extends to the transformation of the passenger's state of mind. The interplay between the bamboo shadows and rolling mist outside the window and the interior's ambient lighting, subtle fragrances, and tactile fabrics creates a holistic travel experience of "poetic dwelling."
