Located in Shanghai, China, this project takes "Three-Dimensional Landscape, Flowing Garden" as its core design concept, aiming to create a comfortable and diverse garden.
Centered around the "solid sense of life," the project focuses on creating a sense of orderly growth, an extension of spatial layers, and a high-end yet warm lively atmosphere. The first opening area interprets this concept through three spatial depths: a 60-meter display lobby combined with a green space constructs an urban image display interface; a 23-meter depth creates a spiritual corridor floating on the water, connecting the entrance gatehouse with the backyard; the site forms a vertically growth through block deconstruction, creating immersive layers.
From the ceremonial entrance to the garden, each scene is a concrete expression of "multidimensional life": the ceremonial entrance outlines a warm sense of homecoming with curved aesthetics, encountering the essence of ideal life; the spiritual promenade utilizes the gentleness of water and the tranquility of the corridor to create a spiritual homecoming path; the flowing corridor uses light and shadow as a medium to allow visitors to experience diverse scenery with every step along the circular route; the garden grows on layered and staggered blocks, with a panorama of vertical landscapes that unlocking new perspectives of the area.
As the reinforced concrete of the city continues to extend upward, this project also pursues the vitality of this growth—injecting green vitality into the stacked architectural blocks through an upwardly circulating spatial layout and natural outward-extending design techniques, creating this multi-dimensional living scene. The design cleverly uses a 6-meter elevation difference to create a vertical landscape, integrating forest, waterfall, floating stairs, and other scenery; guiding the line of sight to the sunken garden through outward-extending, projecting, staggering, and stacking, thus highlighting the natural depth and sense of layers.
