Yinchuan Sunac City Sales Center

The project is situated inside Gedi Lake Park in Yinchuan. The architecture embodies a perfect combination of natural landscape and practical functions. The integration of cultural and humanistic, architecture and environment demonstrates ethnic features of Ningxia and renders the architecture as a paean for nature.

Based on the city’s cultural context, the design team was inspired by Helan Mountains and Yellow River to work out the design concept. The design team aimed to adopt artistic methods to produce views of the famous landscapes, so as to impress visitors naturally and rapidly and create a landmark of Yinchuan. When visitors enter the sales center, an eye-catching dragon-shaped sculpture comes into view, which looks like singing a paean for the local culture and history. In front of the reception desk is a grotesque stone suspended beside the glass window. It symbolizes a good fortune for the property development. The full-height and spacious lobby extends visitors’ sight lines. Gedi Lake resembles a bright moon viewing from the lobby; while the huge property model display area at the center reminds visitors of the best vision of home. Stepping into the second floor, visitors would be attracted by the crystal tree at the entrance, waterfall painting and pebbles, as if the splendid scenery of Helan Mountains is unfolding underfoot.

More than a sales center, the project can serve as civic cultural center, urban art exhibition center as well as urban living room. The interior adds more spaces for communications, exhibition and experience. And the design especially focuses on user experience. The integration of Ningxia natural landscape elements, ethnic features and Gedi Lake scenery enables visitors to be immersed in local culture.
