Lustre Garden

This project is an integrated design of a modern Chinese-style courtyard and architecture, with the core concept of 'Traditional Ambience ・ Modern Living,' blending the charm of classical gardens with contemporary living functions. The design incorporates Chinese symbols such as repeating patterns and moon gates, reconstructed using metal lines and stone finishes, preserving the texture of traditional culture while highlighting a modern sense of style. The arrangement of stones, dry landscape features, and a mix of pines, bamboos, and flowering trees reflects the gardening essence of 'although created by man, it seems naturally formed.' The moon gate frames the spatial layers through changing views. Pathways paved with gravel and stone connect the 'Longjing Bay' gate tower, the Wanghai Pavilion rest area, and the rock cascade water feature. Lighting is subtly integrated into the landscape, balancing elegance with everyday usability. The overall design introduces modern comfort within traditional forms, allowing Chinese aesthetics to naturally blend into contemporary daily living.
