SUZHOU VERDANT VILLA

Suzhou is situated along the water. The project is located upstream of Shihu Lake and beside Yuelai Creek, inheriting the cultural heritage of the water town and embracing the magnificent scenery of the city's mountains and rivers.
The landscape is inspired by the spirit of "Wu Zhong Shan Shui Huan Juan" (A Scroll of Mountains and Waters in Wu Zhong), incorporating the vastness of Stone Lake into the garden to recreate the charm of Suzhou's water towns. Drawing on the exquisite craftsmanship of Jiangnan gardens, it creates a masterpiece of stone, lake, mountain, and forest within a small space. As you move, the scenery changes, and within a short distance, you are transported to a different world, embodying the Eastern aesthetic of seclusion, where "even amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, the serenity of forests and springs lingers in the heart." A pool of clear water hides the vast expanse, and half a scroll of poetry and painting captures the beauty of Jiangnan. With contemporary brushstrokes, it continues the narrative of dwelling in the gardens of Suzhou. The sunken courtyards draw on the essence of Suzhou gardens, creating an orderly space that brings a rich and varied experience to the garden tour. The corridor winds between the two sunken courtyards, adapting to the scenery and offering a panoramic view of both gardens.
