Project Name: FWD Life Insurance Company Office
Location: Devon House, 11th & 26th Floor, FWD Hong Kong Office
This project reimagines the FWD Hong Kong headquarters as a physical manifestation of the brand’s promise, presenting a cohesive journey across two flagship floors.
The 11th-floor customer service center is conceived as “The Nest – A Sanctuary of Assurance.” It is a haven defined by organic, curvilinear forms. Gracefully flowing ceilings, leaf-patterned curved glass counters, and bespoke furniture create a protective embrace. Under a celestial ceiling of cloud-like waves and a tranquil starry sky, the space provides clients with transparent, secure, and deeply reassuring interactions.
Ascending to the 26th floor, the narrative shifts to partnership and aspiration with the concept “Navigating the Future.” The centerpiece is a sculptural, boat-shaped reception desk, grounded upon sea-wave textured flooring and backed by a solid feature wall. This “vessel in a sheltered cove” symbolizes the beginning of a collaborative journey. The fluid architectural language guides clients towards dynamic collaboration zones and a commanding main conference room—the embodiment of shared ambition. Here, the design articulates a transition from personal security to powerful partnership.
Unified by a philosophy of fluid movement and emotional resonance, the design seamlessly blends profound metaphor with rigorous functionality. Sustainable materials and ergonomic planning underscore a commitment to holistic well-being. Together, these floors articulate FWD’s core identity: a steadfast guardian on one level, and a trusted navigator for the future on the next.
