OCT Real One Tower and The St. Regis Shenzhen Bao’an

Located along the scenic Qianhai Bay, the OCT Shenzhen Real One Tower accommodates Grade-A offices, street retail and especially the luxurious St. Regis Hotel. Facing the spectacular outlook of Qianhai Bay, the Real One Tower is met with a peerless view of the balmy sea and hugged by luscious greenery along the easterly central green axis of Bao’an District.
St. Regis Hotel atop overlooks the magnificent oceanic view. Grade-A offices below are galvanised by the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city below, while the street retail along the bridge linkage offer amble attraction.
Rotating the tower 45 degrees has well solved the relationship between the building and the city, not only giving the building itself a better frontage along the city‘s central axis, but also allowing hotel rooms to have the most sea views. ‘Rotation’ has become the starting point for the architecture. Therefore, we have built two unique outdoor terraces in the middle of the tower (hotel sky lobby) and the top of the tower (sky lounge) in accordance with the "rotation" gesture, encouraging guests to step outdoors and overlook the magnificent scenery of Shenzhen Qianhai Bay. This series of "rotation" gives this project a unique characteristic and iconic image in the city.
