Wuxi No. 1 High School Liangxi Branch

Wuxi No.1 High School Liangxi Campus is located at the intersection of three districts in Wuxi Liangxi Science and Technology City. It is a key project of Wuxi's 14th Five-Year Plan, planning for a 20-track, 60-class high school, with a total land area of about 69,000 square meters and a total construction area of about 126,000 square meters. Due to construction restrictions in the special protection zone of Metro Line 4, the project adopts the core design concepts of 'high-density vertical campus,' 'sports-ecological green axis,' and 'cloud walkway' to create a three-dimensional, composite future campus. The project divides the site into a northwest vitality zone and a southeast teaching zone, builds an ecological green belt and high-line park in the protection zone to connect the two areas and create a green ecological environment; it uses vertical stacking of functions to efficiently utilize land, and combines vertical open spaces to create a transparent composite spatial system. Linear green spaces link sports and ecological spaces, while elevated corridors weave a three-dimensional traffic network. Functional areas are arranged around convenience for teachers and students, with attention to both space utilization and user experience in detail. While overcoming site constraints, it also explores new paths for future educational spaces under high-density development.
