The Pangdonglai aimoda Fu–Horse Lantern is born from the brand’s enduring belief in “Freedom & Love.” Within the Chinese New Year — a season deeply associated with reunion and emotional connection — the lantern serves as a medium of care and goodwill, transcending its role as mere decoration. It allows the values of loving oneself, others, and society to gently resonate within the warmest festive moments, bringing comfort to hearts and warmth to families. The central openwork Fu (Blessing) motif unites cultural expression with emotional language. Based on traditional seal-script structure, the left radical subtly integrates with the word “love,” while the reconfigured strokes on the right evolve into the letters L / O / V / E. This symbiotic fusion of Eastern and Western symbols preserves the integrity of the Chinese character while conveying a shared, cross-cultural understanding — love is happiness. The horse-shaped openwork motif draws from the auspicious symbolism of the horse in Chinese zodiac culture. As the zodiac sign of 2026, the horse represents progress, smooth journeys, and swift success, carrying hopes and blessings for the year ahead. Rendered in a clean and contemporary silhouette, the design transforms traditional meaning into a visually accessible form, allowing blessings to become a shared aspiration between people across cultures. Heart-shaped details at the four corners of the lantern form the emotional starting point of the design, quietly transforming wishes of prosperity into a tangible sense of everyday warmth. The soft, rounded hearts balance the lantern’s structured geometry, allowing the brand philosophy of “Freedom & Love” to emerge naturally. Through this design, Pangdonglai’s belief in “exchanging sincerity for sincerity, warming the world with love” is translated into a silent yet lasting emotional connection with consumers. The aimoda Fu–Horse Lantern features a detachable, modular structure that turns functional design into an invitation for free DIY participation. While effectively reducing transportation and storage volume, it offers users the joy of freely assembling and completing the lantern by hand. The process of assembly gently builds festive anticipation, adding a layer of personal meaning to the gift.
