Roses of Versailles

This case is designed for a three-storey house with a basement. In the strong pursuit of art, the owner hopes to provide an unrestrained living environment for the children. Therefore, within the outer framework of modern architecture, a visual space with distinct colors is constructed by the design team, with the simple Italian lines and gentle Jiangnan regional elements integrated in the elegant French style. Eye-catching as the vibrant colors are, they are also illustrated in a peaceful way with a nifty and comfortable atmosphere provided.

In addition to the basic living room, dining room and bedroom, a multi-functional activity room, a shared space and other entertainment spaces are hereby set up, which forms a hierarchical distribution of dynamic and static spaces, reserving enough independent space and shared space. Starting from the entrance lobby, the design scheme embraces the Renaissance style, with a strong retro atmosphere surging. Wooden floors are used in the living room to improve the degree of comfort with the space enriched by the fireplace, retro bookshelves and colored cloth sofas, which is collocated in a harmonious and entertaining way.

The guest restaurant is connected with Chinese and Western kitchens. The luxurious and graceful temperament of the decoration is highlighted by the baroque furniture in the restaurant. The hostess often cooks Western-style meals for her children, so the design team applies a central island design to increase utilization of space and facilitate their use while separating the Chinese-style cooking to reduce kitchen fumes. The white color is heavily used in the island space, to achieve harmony with the bright colors and make the space concise and elegant.

The master bedroom on the third floor consists of an integrated suite and a study room, with simple and elegant colors, slender European curves and parquet flooring, which looks easy and comfortable. The housing scheme meets everyone's life needs and privacy, taking into account the beauty of balance between art and life.
