Taiwan Terrazzo Tales Calendar

This project centers on "Terrazzo," an iconic feature of Taiwanese architecture. Drawing from its unique material characteristics and our collective emotional memories, we have translated these elements into diverse design forms. Terrazzo is more than just a building material; it embodies Taiwan’s nostalgic stories and the traces of daily life. The core concept of this work is: "Time is not merely passing; rather, it is gently preserved within every grain of texture."
The centerpiece of the project is the " Taiwan Terrazzo Tales Calendar" It archives various terrazzo textures found in Taiwan along with their underlying stories, transforming tactile sensations and memories into visual graphics arranged along a timeline. Flipping through the pages feels like revisiting dusty yet glistening fragments of the past.
