Located near the Chiayi Science Park and the Asia Drone AI Innovation Application R&D Center, this zone echoes Chiayi's pulse as an emerging tech city. Centered on the "Interweaving of Technology and Entertainment," it combines special lighting effects, technological motifs, and interactive installations to create a "Tech Carnival" full of futuristic imagination and festivity. The journey begins with "Water," symbolizing nature birthing civilization, and connects forests, ecology, energy, and smart networks in an immersive experience driven by nature and evolved through technology.
The prologue, Origin of Water, draws inspiration from the Chianan Irrigation Canal. Its signature installation, Canal Starlight, features a winding form that mimics the canal's flow, with rhythmic lights representing water nourishing the soil and connecting settlements with culture. Step into Canal Starlight, where radar sensors transform participants into moving points of light. As you move, a simulated drone light show unfolds within a 360-degree projection showcasing scenery from Taiwan’s 13 National Scenic Areas. It is as if the stories of the land are being illuminated in the night, symbolizing that "civilization is collectively shaped by people."
Dreaming in the Light Realm fuses Alishan’s forests with audiovisual installations, guiding visitors to feel the order of nature within a technological rhythm. Within this zone, the signature installation, Glowstream Forest, is an immersive corridor. Projections, mirrors, and ground lighting create a visually infinite space, while electronic rhythms blend with the sounds of insects and wind. Here, technology reorganizes nature, allowing the forest to be perceived through light and signals.
Smart Chain Future converges energy, blessings, and interaction into a network of light, symbolizing the symbiotic cycle of humanity, nature, and technology—painting a visionary blueprint for Chiayi's future.
Within this zone, the signature installation, Good Things in Persimmon. When visitors scan the QR code, a blessing appears on their phones, and the sensor system triggers a flow of light. Illumination spreads from the branches outward to light up the persimmon lanterns. When multiple people activate it simultaneously, the persimmon tree is lit by collective energy, expanding individual blessings into a shared stream of radiance.
