Capture the Beauty of History through Lens

Once a residence, a pediatric hospital, and a grocery store, it has witnessed prosperity in the area. After left unused for nearly 60 years, this century-old camera brand takes over this property in such a historical block. In this historical building, we are committed to reviving this old block through design, and elevating commercial behaviors and brand values.
We respect local culture in our design, and keep original wood, brick, and stone materials. Cover concrete façade with distressed steel billboards to preserve original appearance. Use minimal strcutures to satisfy commercial purposes. The display area uses wooden arcades to create a new image. Reflections extend the space to ensure visual integrity. As the architecture inherits modernism from Japan, we extend vertical and horizontal lines to create the dynamics. Wooden material also demonstrates a solid historical foundation. The tunnel brings visitors back in time, and points to a centennial brand and a centennial architecture.
