Yunnan, China is renowned for growing and producing Pu’er tea for more than 1700 years. Inspired by the untouched tea terraces landscape of Pu’er tea plantation, we design an interactive packaging to illustrate the nature of Pu’er.

The packaging is made of sustainable corrugated board which is 100% recycled paper. And the material is as vintage as the surface of the tea. When you open the box, Pu'er tea cake (Cha Beeng) elevates slowly. In the meanwhile, customers can appreciate the illustration of its origin: Yunnan tea plantation.

Unlike other kinds of tea, Pu'er tea doesn’t need a hermetic packaging because it is a fermented tea. It requires air circulation, stable temperature and appropriate humidity for its storage.
The structure of the design allows Pu 'er tea cake to have better air and humidity conditions. In addition, we design a hidden handle, which doesn't need to be torn out when transported by e-commerce.
