The main concept of “Beyond 100 Years” is the pursue of beauty. Beauty includes the beauty of nature, of traditional arts, of culture, and people learn the beauty through five senses. The designer adds in the sixth element, individual, to show the beauty of spirits in traditional Japanese garden. As for the site selection, Asia New Bay Area centers the power of culture, which adds in the power of value to create extraordinary quality.

The designer continuously explores the layout of the space, focusing on the interaction between five attributes: light, space, structure, transparency, and texture. These attributes are very similar to the principle proposed by Louis Kahn. Also, the work itself must take root in classical architectures and express through certain means such as the organization of axes or compositions.

By adding value and characterizing the space, such as the imprint on the corner of the building and the stones that symbolizes luxury, the designer infuses honor and glory into the space. The sidewalk, which is the bridge between inside and outside, is in harmony with the luxurious vibe. The entrance is the purifying area, with water curtain falls down, visitors can purify their mind and find inner peace before walking in. The reception, which is a high-quality space, holds an important position to welcome visitors and lead them inside.

The concept is to pursue beauty and define individual by its own character, while put the cultural power of the location in consideration, and enrich the work with extraordinary spiritual space value.

By interpreting modern architecture language, Beyond 100 Years is in context of world architecture.
