Wang Zengqi Memorial Hall

Wang Zengqi Memorial Hall is located in the traditional cultural characteristic block of Gaoyou City. The building complex was built to commemorate the famous contemporary Chinese writer, whose name is Wang Zengqi, and is located in his hometown.

The architectural concept starts from the characteristics of Wang's literary work and the cultural characteristics of his hometown. It shows the traditional Chinese concept of architecture and space. Lighting design continues and strengthens the architectural concept. It is aiming to create a reproduction of the hometown light environment described by Wang, create a bright and gentle lighting atmosphere, make an elegant dark environment with a strong flavor of rural life.

The lighting design shapes the natural continuation of light from the interior to exterior. The interior lighting design pays attention to the illumination of the wall to enhance the perception of the indoor light environment in the outdoor space. Outdoor landscape lighting pays attention to the design of the water reflection effect, while satisfying functional lighting, it also shapes the light environment of the water scenery. The restrained exterior lighting design is limited applies to the design of the most important architectural features, which accentuate the transparency of the feature large French windows and illuminate hall's iconic triangular windows. It makes the interior and exterior spaces more integrated with each other.

To achieve high-quality lighting details, the lamps installed on concrete buildings need to reserve lamp slots and pipelines in advance, so that the integrated design of the building and luminaires can be realized.
