LIBERTÉ GLOBAL DESIGN PLATFORM by Stand MTL

Since 1936, the LIBERTÉ brand has been synonymous with great tasting, super-creamy and high quality yogurts & dairy. After working with the team for over a decade to grow the brand here in North-America, the leadership at LIBERTÉ determined that the brand now had the potential to become a global brand, and they trust us to deliver. That is how we, at Stand MTL, got the opportunity to re-think and re-design this iconic Canadian brand so it could be introduced to new markets around the globe. This is the result of over two (2) years of hard work and we’re very proud to say that today, LIBERTÉ exists not only in Canada and the US, but also in the UK, France, Norway & Australia. The platform had some important strategic objectives to achieve including moving away from a portfolio that hinged on supporting seven (7) sub-brands into a single powerful and distinctive LIBERTÉ brand. We brought in illustrators that worked on their own interpretations of each sub-brand to keep each family true to its roots. We used colour and a simple approach to design to create what we see as potentially one of the world’s best packaging platforms in the ever-changing and fast-growing yogurt category. We love the simplicity, the beauty, the freshness and the confidence that this platform evokes. It tells so much of the LIBERTÉ story. This project was created and executed by each and everyone on our team with love, pride and a large dose of let's make it happen. And thanks to everyone at LIBERTÉ who were patient enough to eventually give in to where we all knew we needed to go. It took courage. And we know that courageous people and brands are the ones who make a difference at the end of the day. We hope you like our work. It might just be our best work ever here at Stand MTL.
