B&F Restaurant

The owner’s love for food and wine led him to open B&F Restaurant which offered high-quality domestic beef meals for diners. The design team created a warm, welcoming, and sincere dining space where people can enjoy healthy food and understand the meaning of eating. The 92-square-meter space has a usable height of 5.2 meters, and a customized steel-wood composite structure was adopted to make the most of the limited space in a limited budget. The first floor covers the functions of a public dining area, bar counter, kitchen, storage room, and toilet. At the entrance, a flexible folding glass door made the restaurant close to nature and a wall lamp installed on the painted metal doors and windows attracted guests and stood out in the street. The well-polished composite board integrated with the wood wave ceiling, supplemented by adjustable warm-color lighting and the pseudo-cement gray floor, making the entire public dining experience extremely warm and cozy. The relatively independent second floor included an open on-site grilling area, a dining area, a rest area, a wine cellar, a demonstration area, a panoramic window, a wardrobe, and an equipment room. The simple sofa and modern coffee table form a mini chatting and resting area near the dining area. The wine cellar next door is undoubtedly the treasure of the owner. The wooden shelving made by the designer can store at least nearly a hundred kinds of wine in various bottle types, which can be fully displayed from all angles. The panoramic glass windows and the pure marble window sills enlarge the openness of space and enrich the texture of space. The dining table was made of composite wood, after polishing and painting, it showed the most authentic wood itself. The table can also be transformed into a conference table at any time. The whole space is composed of wood, marble, and metal. It pursues the maximum rationalization and practicality of the space and creates a warm and stylish atmosphere at the lowest cost. The simple space form reveals the complexity and meaning of design.
