Time is the protagonist. We develop the whole project from it and try to record time as an organic being while it goes on with its elegance and variety. While we are sketching the outline of materials, time character seems to echo along, thus forming an unique concerto. This slim and graceful space is designed for the following purposes: artwork exhibition, antique restoration, crafts' communication.
Two oblique walls designed with optical techniques: reflectivity and distortion. These two walls define and divide the space into three distinctive zones: arched entrance, trapezoidal showroom, and ascending ceiling. This arrangement creates a subtle guide for visitors to follow the narrow beginning to the main atrium. Once the space done its job of leading, the visitors now focus on the oval transparent glass table which displays main exhibits. This gradation intends to magnify every detail in the museum. The ambiance of dim reflection and specific spotlighting brings exhibits alive in micro nuances. Privately public, luxuriously quotidian, and obscurely lucent.
