Fei Tian Lan Yue

The design inspiration comes from the four-corner palace lantern. The illustration part of the lamp body focuses on the scene of the Jade Rabbit Fairy playing in the Moon Palace to highlight the happy atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The pictures and colors as well as the costumes and makeup come from the Flying Apsaras frescoes of Dunhuang. Combined with the image of angels in western oil paintings, the combination of eastern and western traditional elements makes the illustration show a unique style, rich in details, and both decorative and ritual sense.

This mooncake box creates a modern expression by combine with traditional lantern. The integration of Dunhuang elements and Yutu elements is a new attempt to continue Chinese traditional culture.

The combination of practicality and beauty makes the mooncake package can also be used as household lamp and art work after eating, so as to avoid discarding packaging and effectively save resources.
