Greentown Young City, Hangzhou

"Young City" is a large urban community that integrates shopping malls, residences, parks, and schools and features transit-oriented development (TOD) mode, situated in Hangzhou, China.

Based on the architectural layout, the landscape design focuses on 8 aspects relevant to the community including housing, wellness, catering, culture, traffic, office, education, and entertainment in a holistic manner. The landscape spaces mostly feature a regular geometric plane, and are aimed to set a model of intelligent life for young people.

The landscape design involves the analysis and utilization of the site's conditions, organization of spatial relations, and coordination between landscape and the complex's overall style. Specifically, it covers roads, waterscape, lighting, furniture and public facilities, etc. The design pays attention to the combination of integrity, practicality, artistry and enjoyment, and adopts modern concepts to showcase distinctive landscape features and cultural implications of the community.
