WECO AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM

Weco Agricultural Science and Technology Museum is located at Zaotou Town, Shangrao County, Jiangxi Province, and covers an area of 11,993.86m². With the power of design, Weco Agricultural Science and Technology Museum breaks through the tradition and integrates art. Through the organization and planning of height difference and route, as well as the treatment of interface inside and outside, it creates a space feeling as rich as possible, which gradually connects the visiting route in the museum with the theme of “waterscape, cloud and mist, and mountain valley”.



Starting from the point of space entrance, the designers seek to “break up” and reintegrate and optimize the interior layout of the museum. The surface of the building is covered with a locally renewable stucco material, and the entrance, which was originally located in the center of the building, has been shifted to the side, and an attempt is made to excavate 4.5 meters below ground level at the shifted entrance to gain additional sunken space. After the adjustment, the entrance is surrounded by a water curtain full of ritual feelings, and the sound of water falling from all directions can clean up the hearts of the people by seeing and hearing.



The void area simulates the natural curve of the cloud, mist and valley with its unique texture and plastic meshy materials so as to finally form the largest meshy carving art group in China. With the help of the multimedia interactive device, it can simulate the light and shadow images of the natural environment, reshape the visual language and break the distance between the media and the senses.
