Space Travel Into the Galaxy

This design of the bank focuses on the lighting design and the use of curved lines. Taking the spacecraft as inspiration, the designer merges the imagination of outer space into the standard arrangement of the bank and office area.



The main colors used here are inspired by the symbol of the bank, which are red and black. By integrating the main tone with some parts of dark blue as decoration, the main theme of the bank is rather simple in colors but interesting in its shape and use of curved lines. The use of curved lines on the ceiling, the floor and partition panels create a smooth flow of the space as if it’s in the outer space with a sense of weightlessness.



As for the lighting, by using indirect lighting and circulous spotlight on the ceiling, it does emphasize more of the symbolic image of the spacecraft. The design of the ceiling also corresponds to the floor as the curved lines go on with two different colors, creating a balanced sensation of the spatial perception while walking in between the different areas. This creates an illusion of walking through the galaxy with the smooth curves. As the gleamy black stone staircase goes up in a curved line, the railing goes up as well till the ceiling opens up and forms a big circle open on the second floor.



The use of a rectangular shape of windows goes around the center circle, giving a similar sense of looking out from the craft. The overall interior design gives guests and customers a rather fluid atmosphere that every part of the office functions well with an organized flow. In this case, service can be accessed easily and conveniently without confusion.
