The Glimmering Figure

The “modern” spatial style is developed from the owner’s passion, while the designing method is based on detailed observations and function requirements. The designer applied greyscale color tones such as black, grey, and white and supplemented them with linear to divide the ratio; a modern yet simple visual style is outlined. The square and round metal modeling surface on the wall is paired with indirect lighting to deliver the richness between shadows and light, elaborating a pure yet plentiful, moving yet silent modern atmosphere. To meet the owner’s hospitable demands, the designer observed the original space and tore down the compartment wall initially located in the open-ended study; then, the traffic flow between the entryway, the living room, the study, and the kitchen has created an aggressive yet abundant feeling smoothly. The non-definition spatial arrangement of the open-end method allows guests to interact freely and refreshingly.
