The project is located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, China. It is a mountainous site. There are many large trucks passing by on the road, which is very noisy and gives people a sense of insecurity. When you walk along the mountain road, you will find that the site is surrounded by mountains and the vision there is extremely broad, you will feel optimistic at that time; then suddenly it rained, and pedestrians held up umbrellas and walked along the mountain road, suddenly having a kind of fun in hiking. We are walking and mountains are also moving, so we put forward the design concept of "walking along mountain".



We make use of the feature of mountain resources, and always preserve the fun given by the site, throughout the whole process, and do not forget the original intention, to create a mountain aesthetics that walks along the mountain and lives by the mountain. Based on the concept of displacement and time of walking in the mountains, we designed two spaces, the "City Showcase" and the "Forest Theater". The "City Showcase" is a time gap of walking. It records the time and space changes of the site. It is a living art exhibition space that can be walked, appreciated, talked and played. The "Forest Theater" is a walkable landscape painting. According to the original conditions of the site, the walks are designed in the shape of "Z" to eliminate the oppression of straight steps and make people walk smoothly in the mountains and forests, shuttle in the light and shadow.



I expect that human and mountains will get along in the most intimate way here, walking mountain roads, enjoying mountain breeze, watching mountains and clouds, living in mountains. Everything exists because of mountains, and everything is vivid because of mountains.
