This case is a retirement housing planning case. The older couples hope to make the living space at home more flexible, maximize the lighting space, and improve the overall space quality to achieve a hotel-like comfort and texture. The designer creates a clean space outline through straight lines and dividing vertical planes, and cleverly inserts circles and curves to balance the sharpness in the space. The open public space, combined with the guest dining room, uses intuitive design techniques to use styles to create a high-quality and comfortable retirement life.

In terms of layout, in order to pursue maximum lighting, the designer chose to knock down one room and let the guest dining room reach two vertical levels. In order to avoid too dazzling light, the high and flat ceiling played a key role, and matched with the matte material of the sky, the earth and the wall, so that the natural light softly lit up the space. The walls are made of stain-resistant and easy-to-clean materials to make it easier to maintain cleanliness and reduce the need for changing materials.

The porch is made of rich dark colors, matched with the slightly bright spotlights up and down, to create a luminous appearance of texture and color, creating a sense of privacy. The dark wooden floor runs through the whole space, and the smooth and intuitive movement echoes each other. The dark space tone, with the black bright marble TV wall as the foreground, and the warm white wall as the back, balance the feeling of the color. The simple use of stone, the matte texture of thin bricks, and the tough leather material make the overall public space simple and tidy, revealing a slight luster and high-quality atmosphere.

The finishing touch is the arc in the space. The circular design of the ceiling of the living room softens the square and neat space, and integrates multiple functions such as maintenance holes, indirect lighting, and modeling design into one.
