Inno & Tech Valley

Inno & Tech Valley is located in the New District of Hangzhou, China. Inspired by the local shanshui context and the architectural image of residential settlements, we proposed an open, shared, creative and vibrant industrial park surrounded by mountains and rivers, with help of the urban landscape system, and this area of 272,995 square meters is going to be a new model of an innovation headquarters. No. 6 Street to the site’s north provides the main landscape interface for the project, so the high-rise office volumes are set along it, forming a continuous mountain image. Internally, there are several small multi-storey offices with their own gardens, which looks like a village surrounded by mountain. Then, the volume of high-rise building is distorted to form three urban squares, in which commercial and public area encountering with each other, and the height difference between the high-rise and the terrace makes the mountain more vivid. The space on the ground floor is partially overhead to form a visual corridor inside and outside the site, and it also provides various public area. Inno & Tech Valley is also a social condenser and an energetic community for the young generation, promoting unexpected encounters in the office park. The 2000 square meters of the open lawn gardens and hanging terraces, provides the lighting, air and greening views for the office building, as well as the places for parties. Skateboard area, runway loop and gyms, fashionable and diverse activities venues provide the young with an interesting work life.
