The project is a gift box designed for the Spring Festival of the Year of the Ox. Alabear is the mascot of Dongqian Lake Tourist Area in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China. Alabear's name comes from the Ningbo dialect "ala" means "our". Alabear means "our little bear". The project uses the bear mascot as the main design element, combined with the image of the cow and the god of wealth to design red envelopes, spring festival couplets and other gifts for Chinese New Year. In China, 12 animals represent the corresponding year, and the year of the ox corresponds to 2021. The God of Wealth is the most popular god in Chinese New Year. During the Chinese New Year, red packages are used to give small change to children as New Year gifts, and Spring Festival couplets will be posted on the doors of households. The content of this gift box is required for Chinese New Year. The project was welcomed by the local people and played a role in publicizing Dongqian Lake tourism.
