The design inspiration of this case comes from how to comprehensively explain the concept of "home" with design vocabulary. This is a high-rise private house. The owner is an elite person engaged in the construction industry. After enjoying all kinds of residences and forming "aesthetic fatigue", he increasingly pursues the simple emotion hidden in the design techniques. Therefore, the design team aims to find out the owner's inner "sense of belonging", abandon the artificial display, and build the project into a residence in cloud hidden in the prosperous city.

The project covers an area of 270 square meters, giving people enough space to conceive and imagine. However, the plain "warmth" is stereotyped, and the spiritual attribute of space often needs the same frequency resonance between designers and residents. The design team makes extensive use of walnut and Emperador marble board indoors. While ensuring the high-grade texture and tone of decoration, it also aggressively positioned the main tone as high-grade gray.

The cool look and sharp lines make the overall expression of space emotion self-discipline, soberness and restraint. The warm orange light and atmosphere form a strong contrast with the stove fire, which can better convey a non-heroic but long-lasting, non-hot but warm emotion to the residents.

The ingenious use of mirror and glass blurs the "sense of boundary" of different fields, so that the space is naturally connected into a coherent whole, so that the residents can get rid of the constraints of walls and lines in the open space, and have a free, comfortable and unrestrained experience in their heart.

Here, the design team creatively uses the most commendable "tenon" structure of Chinese architecture in the design of the background wall of living and dining rooms. The manually carved component nodes are tightly connected together. The fine technology can not only make its visual beauty lasting, but also have strong practicability.

Whether the shaping of the scene, the layout of the furnishings, or the carving of the details, it is all free of superfluous decoration and full of profound meaning.
