Suzhou Vanke Daxiang Woshan Sales Center

The project is located in Suzhou, known as Gusu. The beauty of Suzhou lies in the small bridges and flowing water, the beauty in the classical gardens, and the beauty in the homes with high walls and deep courtyards. Based on the unique geographical location and the long-standing Gusu culture, this design takes inspiration from local traditional culture and the natural environment which serves as the primary colors, using the traditional elements of "mountain, water, and bamboo" as the expression medium. The art of agility Aesthetics is poured into the space, and everything is in harmony with the surrounding environment, according to the location, time, material, and communication, conveying the integration of culture and environment.

The projected light, shadow and abstract elements are used to show the concept of "the sky is round and the ground is square". The surrounding line elements are arranged and combined on the secondary plane in accordance with beautiful visual effects and the principles of mechanics, piling up a unique space experience.

The flexible characteristics of "bamboo" combined with sophisticated and complex weaving techniques are integrated with the dome of the lobby, and the concept of "melting into the natural landscape" is fully demonstrated through the art of bamboo weaving. At the same time, it also allows people to re-examine the beauty of modern handicrafts and truly take ] everything from nature and give back to nature.

The sand table area is neat and orderly, dignified and clean. Through the combination of natural light scattered from the dome and indoor lighting, it reflects the spaciousness and vigor of the space. The rotating sand table connects the landscape with the world, and echoes the furniture in the negotiation area. In the limited space, it is constantly winding without ending , forming an infiltration cycle between nature and human living space.

The whole design of the negotiation area pursues the integration with nature. A large number of furniture are selected from the design works of the architect Zaha, which also fits with Zaha's design philosophy.
