Natural sceneries are flexible and changeable, just like the swirling clouds outside the window; hence, the overall vibe of this case is lightly composed. This project does not deliberately refine the performance of ornate shapes but adopts a spacious and open-end design modern way. The aesthetic lines and ink-splash visual effects on the façade exhibit the gracious sense of internal and external integration in a quiet manner. At the same time, the wall surface is the highlight of the design; a large amount of gray artistic paints is used in the space to imitate the heavy clouds and nature’s nudity. The vista wall and partial façades are covered with large stones, rendering the majestic momentum of ancient landscape paintings. The ceiling is decorated with wood veneer and blacklines to bring in lights and shadows of the greenery outside the windows; meanwhile, a large slab of stone tiles and wooden cabinet doors delivers a bright, simple, yet rustic sense of elegance. In the private area, the overall atmosphere changes from inky landscape painting to light watercolor painting. Complemented by soft and bright contrast colors, and wood veneer, and gratings in warm tonal, a sense of vibrancy is added to the façade while subtly highlighting the owner’s preferred North-European housing style. Nothing in the mountains, only white clouds surrounding.” This project is located in the mountain areas of Xindian; due to the high topography, the clouds and mist surround the paths and created beautiful scenery inhabited by people. To give users an ultimate experience in living, the designer responded to the ever-changing mountain sceneries and drew inspiration from the diffuse clouds and mist to shape the overall into a flowing painting. The interior is decorated with artistic paints to render the aesthetic of ink-splashing landscape, echoing both inside and outside to create a worldly wonderland standing in the mountains starting from wildlife and ending in human nature.
