Chage

Chage is a minimalist industrial style milk tea shop themed with the moon. The designer uses the concept of dismantling and constructing to put the beauty of the two ontology under the same design proposition, letting the minimalist industrial aesthetics merge in the whole space. Space is used as a medium to achieve mutual response, where the linear lighting is the creator of the overall lunar atmosphere.

Cement is adopted to simulate the surface of the moon. The old mottled load-bearing column and metal seat highlight the sense of science and technology in the details. Rough cement brick components blends with the dim sunset light. The concrete is wrapped with glass to retain the original structure of the building, increasing the industrial style. The open public space is developed based on the concrete.

The futuristic elements of stainless steel plate, metal seat, concrete, and geometric countertops made of gray bricks are integrated to make the space more artistic. The mottled sparkle of metallic luster brings more futuristic sense. In this fantasy space, it seems to be in the cracks of time.

The hidden lights on the top surface give the space the illusion of passing through and Klein Blue chair adorns the entire gray space. Volume as an expression element staircase are stacked to connect the gray palette coherently. When stepping from the stairs, different structural levels are formed through the change of light. Materials of different textures can be found in this unified space, where a deep and complex space composed of a variety of materials is created through the control of light and material.
