Situated in a newly-built tall residential building in Sanchung, Inscription of the Vintage is a modestly-sized residence covering 22 pings with two bedrooms, a dining room, a living room and two bathrooms. It perfectly suits the daily needs of a small household. The overall design features a blend of European neoclassicism and the American style, with a color scheme of milk tea and pink shaping a warm vibe of a mellow, elegant home.
Beige-toned system shoe cabinetry and decorative moldings on the wall form a distinct entryway. They tie with black polished tiles of camellia patterns as well as a chandelier on the ceiling and separate mirrored panels on the wall adjacent to the dining room, characterizing the section with focal points and creating a feel of grandness for reception.
Next to the entryway is the common area, with an open-concept layout that includes a living room, a dining room and a study, making for spaciousness in a limited footage. The study is defined by a waist-high parapet and the living-room sofa. Its open upper part serves to retain distinction between the two sections while maximizing the space for its users. The milk-tea tone and European style at the entryway continue into the common area. Units divided by pink grilles and lozenge patterns, together with a collage of such materials as gray mirrors, marble and white baking varnish on a dividing wall that looks three-dimensional, make for an enriched and luxurious touch in the space. The TV wall is decorated with titanium-plated strips to divide the large sheet of cream-toned marble whose natural, organic veins and refined texture accentuate uniqueness of the space.
Great emphasis is placed on functionality and practicality of the cabinetry, with diverse materials and metal door handles adding to its overall quality and texture.
Unlike the pink-toned design in the common area, the private bedrooms feature neoclassical decorations complemented with slightly different color tones.
Differentiation in similarity serves to shape a distinctive vibe for the space.
