Alcedo & Butterfly

The design of the whole restaurant takes Alcedo & Butterfly, Butterfly, Tea Culture and Kimchi Culture as the main elements and extends the perceivable spatial image, constantly exploring the best balance between environment and art in the collision and blending of nature and humanity.
The door perfectly represents the beauty of harmony between ancient and modern, East and West. The line craft of the wall plate and the transparent texture of the glass, under the halo of light and shadow, give a sparkling light, which not only explains the concept of butterfly freedom, but also shows the profound cultural heritage of western Sichuan.
The landscape wall combines traditional gardens with modern aesthetics, and the rich texture of materials and geometric blocks skillfully connect the inside and outside of the area with pure brushstrokes, giving diners an immersive sensory experience of alternating virtual and real situations.
The winding path and narrow lane are tactfully quiet at every turn. It is in sharp contrast with the bright and spacious dining area, which is wide and narrow, and outlines the progressive, smart and changeable spatial form. The artistic installation with elegant rhyme and poetry is designed to create a comfortable and pleasant dining scene.
Combined with the pattern of restaurant, the spatial planning incorporates the thinking of dynamic and static relationship, and makes use of smooth moving lines and functions to effectively meet the dining needs of different customer groups. From the current social mode, the designer breaks the conventional thinking, and divides the dining area into the scattered seat area along the window, the half-package area and the box area along the street. The diversified seating settings give diners more choices.
However, apart from the partition of rank, the transformation of decoration, and the shape change of tables and chairs, the designer injects clear differences into each area with the help of different light and shadow according to the characteristics of different dining areas.
