Over the years, based on Tsingda Design product-academic-research platform’s hard-earned achievements, it strives to apply design aesthetics to more urban space realizations. In this project, Tsingda Decoration searches for a breakthrough after researching a great deal of retirement projects, domestic and international, establishing the foundation on the local bay area and the needs of core residents. Focusing on their life, aesthetics, and mentality, the design applies a simple, extravaganza-free style, with caring and detail-oriented insights, crafting diverse, multifaceted spaces that satisfy both functionality and lifestyle aesthetics, returning to life’s essential beauty.

“A vibrant, nontraditional community, is the common expectation of multiple parties such as construction, management, design, and residents. Based on the abundant spatial layout and supporting facilities, the diverse functional choices, we aim for richness instead of minimalism, to create lifestyle settings of high quality, so that residents here can enjoy a fulfilled, boundless and ageless life, and achieve the slogan ‘Pleasant in All Seasons, Enjoy Retired Life Here’.” Says the designer on the counter-aging community.

The common life area includes a brand showcase area, leisure area, aging education area, tearoom, and assorted hobby areas such as calligraphy and painting, dancing, sports, and music. Based on research and exploration of the active aging concept, Tsingda Decoration emphasizes on life force when designing the space. Matching closed-line shapes subtly with wood tone colors, the design outlines living situations that are lively and specific, offering mental enjoyment and support.

“After careful research of outstanding global retirement wellness projects, we noticed that this type of interior space usually has a comparatively uniform and monotonous, with little personalized elements. Therefore, we drew from diverse aesthetics, combining the targeted clientele’s characteristics and residential needs, providing different clients with diverse choices, and creating multiple daily environments with comfort as well as aesthetics.”

The independent rooms are personal comfort spaces. Unlike existing retirement wellness projects’ usual color theme, Tsingda Decoration adds to the simple, elegant wood color basis with vermilion, teal, lilac, light green, and warm gold theme secondary colors, to emphasize spatial quality along with the outline presence of the furniture and decorations.
