LIGHT WATERFALL

This is a center for the display and performing art.as a public living space of citizens .We have participated in the design of architectural, interior, FF&E as well as landscape aiming at to integrate the interior, architectural and landscape design into one so as to form a museum-style exhibition and experience area.

Water is the theme of this case. The architectural design conveys the relation of water, architecture and nature using a transparent concept.

LIGHT WATERFALL

On the exterior elevation of the architecture, we designed a luminous water curtain wall to echo the theme of water. The luminous water curtain wall is composed of LED light strips, and the running of light strip looks like the running water, which is reflected on the water pond and intersected with the pool. The water curtain wall has two surfaces, one is the exterior elevation of the architecture and the other is the interior background wall.

Flexagon Feeling Marble Wall

A large landscape pool was designed in front of the architecture and it looks like that the whole building is floating on the water. A 50-meter corridor cuts the water surface of the pool and connects the entrance of the art center, from which the guests can access the interior space slowly. Before entering the interior, the guests need to passe a 16-meter-high entrance of light marble wall, which is so high and looks like a flexagon of the towering sides from a distance. Entering the compacted corridor from the open exterior space, then enter the open interior area which forms the rhythm of compact and open space full of ritual sense.
