The Bronze Tower

Unlike typical industrial-style interiors, this project emits a delicate and exquisite vibe through the selection of materials. For example, bricks in different styles are used to layer the space, while glass and metal elements and warm tonal lightings are decorated to merge softness with roughness. As for the art hallway, the designer has set up several staggering LED strips to give users a more profound experience; meanwhile, a wall made of glass bricks is also placed on a side of the tunnel to decrease the oppressing feeling. This project is an extended version of the owner’s first bistro, The Iron Tower; elements of gold, silver, bronze, and iron are used as themes and names for each brand branch. As for this design, the Bronze Tower, metal elements are massively used as decorations and are paired with the overall industrial style. Many details are also added into this space to create an exquisite sense while presenting the imagery of bronze. This project adopted a large number of hollowed bricks that are low-carbon green building materials; they also have the characteristic of fire prevention that follows laws and regulations. Meanwhile, numerous French windows and a large area of glass brick walls are set up to draw natural lightings indoors while reducing electricity use for artificial light sources. Greeneries are planted on walls at the entrance and toilets to improve air quality and reduce indoor carbon dioxide. Furthermore, the art paint used on the art hallway contains lead ore, which can balance humidity and temperature for the interior.
