The Irises is a new home for a retired couple and their two daughters. As the owner loves Van Gogh's famous Irises, who also owns a copy of the Irises; but due to the space limitation of the old residence, it has never been able to be hung up. Therefore, at the beginning of the design, the owner puts forward the hope to make the Irises as the core of the space. For this purpose, the designer not only places the painting on the wall behind the sofa in the living room, but also extends the color matching in the painting to the whole soft decoration and furniture. In order to cooperate with the painting, the overall space is also based on the white color, with the neoclassical style, presenting an elegant space atmosphere; the TV wall in the fireplace shape in the living room is the finishing touch, not only echoing the neoclassical style, but also giving the space a richer expression. According to the family member number, the designer turns a bedroom to a study, and replaces the original door frame with glass door, to make the family member in the study and living room could see each other while not disturb each other, and the daylighting of the study can also spread into the dining room, to make the space in the name of "Irises" more elegant, bright, and clean.
