The project, adhering to the design philosophy of “art, nature and technology”, is the brand-new fourth-generation Wanda commercial plaza, which centers on the topic of “micro tourism”. The scenes with super-visual experiences featuring the three major themes of “sky platform”, “sky road” and “sky ring”, together with function- and business-activities-oriented floors of different styles, must be the most eye-catching, offering tourists better shopping and entertainment experiences.

The most significant feature of the atrium is the “sky platform”, the world’s longest themed glass gallery road connecting both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The 70-meter road, referencing, in terms of design, to the lofty bridge of magpies in Chinese mythology, brims with the cultural connotation of a blissful marriage. The circular gazebo interlaces with the long glass gallery road on each floor, which creates strong visual impacts, providing couples with a great sense of atmosphere.

The themed space of the “sky road” includes the biggest domed immersive LED screen in Southwest China, and the longest spiral aerial trail among other commercial complexes. For the purpose of leading people to the upper floors of the commercial center more smoothly to prevent congestion on the lower ones, the design team, drawing on human beings’ curiosity and visual tropism, employs a daylighting roof and dangling rotating ramps of the large art installation, boosting greatly the consumptive power of the commercial center.

The themed space of the “sky ring” is an indoor micro scenic spot. Tourists can, on the circular gazebo, see the abstract, multi-layered and ring-shaped ceiling created by the design team employing optical illusion and special light effects, which creates so powerful visual impacts that tourists are greatly impressed. In such a place exuding a strong sense of future technology, one feels like experiencing the time travel, literally!
