Design Reality has designed the only healthcare specific reusable half-mask respirator to feature two-way filtration and a clear, anti-fog, speech recognition window with CE, UKCA and AU/NZ certification – Revolution 200. Unlike other reusable respirators, the Revolution 200 filters air breathed in AND out, affording protection from the wearer in cases of asymptomatic carriers of infectious viruses, such as COVID-19 - keeping patients and fellow health workers protected. One of the problems with traditional respirators in healthcare has been communication, and our anti-fog coated window allows for lip reading, particularly beneficial to those who are hard of hearing.

The Revolution 200 is made specifically for front-line healthcare workers to limit the spread of infection both to and from the wearer. Made in the UK, reusable and recyclable, it has a low carbon impact and will help in meeting the green initiatives of government around the world.

The Revolution 200 has smooth clean lines to aid in cleaning/decontamination. It has an anti-fog clear window to allow for easier communication. And it is white, so as to be discreet, clean and clinical in the healthcare environment.

The Revolution 200 features lockable straps for easier donning/doffing, a low-profile orinasal bridge for compatibility for glasses or goggles, and quick release straps so that it can be taken off without removing other PPE.

Two-way filtering respirators have all traditionally been valve-less disposable filtering face pieces, which are made in China and are single use items. The Revolution 200 is much better for the environment being made in the UK, reusable and recyclable.

Use of two-way filtering RPE in hospitals has been proven to have a significant impact on infection rates. The Revolution 200 not only helps with this, but it tackles existing RPE pain points such as the environmental impact of single-use items and barriers in communication.
