3D Paper Craft - Year of Tiger

Design concept

The craft is designed as a Chinese New Year gift for our business clients in the year of Tiger. Traditional Chinese New Year red banners and red packets are in one dimension and monotonous. Our design team strives for a three dimensional decoration. Ways of assembling, eco-friendly materials, printing effects, and weight for delivery are factors we took into consideration in design. Once the craft is assembled, this can be served as a year of Tiger greeting decoration at office and home.

This paper craft decoration can be done by one or more players. This is a delightful step-by-step craft building up logical thinking and hand-eye coordination. For parents, it is also a perfect gift for communication with kids and storytelling of 12 zodiac in Chinese New Year.

All components of this 3D paper craft decoration such as Tiger head, neck, body, two lucky banner panels, mountains, decorative flowers, and even the outer package case (as the whole decoration base) are in modern graphics which represent greetings and best wishes in Chinese New Year.

The whole set can be assembled easily only in 10-20 minutes. No glue or scissors are required for constructing. All components, foldable parts, tabs and slot are marked with artwork printing effects.

Printing materials, process and technology highlights
We overcame challenges of paper construction so as to make the whole set three dimensional. The whole set can be assembled without glue and the outer package case is designed as the decoration base for display. The design aims to protect our environment and avoid materials wastage. On the other hand, we collaborate with an eco-friendly printing company which expertises at MGI Jetvarnish 3Ds iFoil printing. The craft is printed by FSC certified paper with Vegetables oil ink (plant-based ink).
