CHINOISERIE MANSION,ZUNYI,CHINA

Zunyi, one of the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, integrates landscape and humanities, and the traditional culture and modern customs displayed by the city collide with people's hearts. In Zunyi, a city full of cultural heritage, the design hopes to allow people to start an artistic journey about nature and oriental aesthetics in a place far away from the hustle and bustle of the city through the revival of oriental living forms and the extraction of local culture.



The project is located in Xinpu New District, Zunyi, Guizhou, close to the urban expressway Xinpu Avenue and the expressway Xinnan Expressway under construction. The surrounding road network is rich, the transportation is convenient, and the accessibility is good. The building is in the new Chinese style. The architect was inspired by the cornices and corners of the ancient buildings and the charm of the Forbidden City, and interpreted the traditional culture with architectural language. The architectural shape resembles the character "Zhi", and the landscape takes the concept of "between", taking Chinese charm and incorporating advanced techniques, which not only expresses the complementary relationship with architecture, but also metaphors the relationship between tradition and modernity, city and nature. A place of residence, a place of heaven and earth.



A garden is a three-dimensional landscape painting. The project draws on the techniques of stacking stones, water management, planting flowers, and connecting trees in Chinese gardens, and integrates design elements such as pavilions, platforms, verandas, connecting bridges, screen mountains, stone placement, water features and plants, and extracts the charm and temperament of Chinese gardens. Gardens liven up their lives. Going deeper and entering the park, the aesthetics of life is combined with locality and artistry, bringing a unique immersive experience and poetic artistic conception.
