A galaxy of architects, artists and designers have unprecedentedly joined forces to create an out-of-this-world art and retail complex in Hong Kong. This 1,100 thousand sq.ft. project sits alongside the Victoria Harbor and is envisioned to remodel a blend of aesthetics between heritage and avant-garde.

Inspired by the '30s Art Nouveau and with a château concept behind, the flagship K11 Musea owns her advantage of providing spaciousness, and hence coziness and solemnity as in residential sensation.

The look is decidedly luxurious. Cathedralic entrance of 15m ceiling height and arch top glass doors marks her solemnity and boundary. With 1,800 crystal-like spherical ceiling light balls installed, it metaphorizes the miraculous collaboration of her creatives and designers- an appeal of a breathtaking galaxy with thousand glittering stars finding ways in the free-form path in bronze.

Walking through the space, atrium, namely The Opera Theatre as the great hall in the mansion primes her visitors with mesmeric interior: an almost surreal and engrossing gigantic steel and glass Gold Ball of 10.4m in diameter, which is comprised of spherical chambers. It is installed on the 2/F as a multi-dimensional space created to house exhibitions and events of all kinds that would appear to float and hang in space.

Escalating climbers of steel sculpture, hand-painted for a rustic mix of mahogany, umber and brunette, is inspired from tree root, imposing an energy and further emphasizing a curving wall lining with modernity.

Finally the aluminium ribbons weave an enormous classy masquerade mask, covering the entire ceiling, as if one mysterious party go-er peeks from above. All unparalleledly match the name "The Opera Theatre" in its full scale.

The project offers a serious attempt to break away from conventions and reconsider the traditional physical shopping environment. That in itself makes it astonishingly fresh and progressive.
