Work From Home

How do we work from home in this post-pandemic era? Working from home may not just be a work style, but also a way of life. With the renovation of a 40-year-old house in Tainan, we shaped a place that combined lifestyle and workstyle.



As a workplace and dwelling place of two architects interested in leather making and vintage toy collecting, various scales of creation space were inserted into this home. We set the workplace on the first and third floors accordingly by dividing different working environments and connecting them with a bright stairwell—we create a possibility to work or create in every corner with various working conditions.



Using white and gray as the leading tone, combined with the warm texture of wood, we merge all the elements of wind, light, and green into the environment. It's a home/studio defining our life attitude to work at home and live in work.



本案是位於台南的40年老屋整修案，

我們想探討的是在後疫情時代，如何在家工作?

在家工作不只是一種工作型態，也是一種生活方式，

在工作中生活，在生活中工作，會是怎麼樣的空間型態?



本案為兩位建築師共同使用的工作空間及自宅，

除了建築本業外，製作皮革及蒐藏老玩具是我們的興趣。

營造尺度合宜的工作場域，將主要工作空間打散在一樓和三樓，

以通透且明亮的樓梯間與公共區域串聯不同層級的工作空間。

在面對不同工作狀態中，都能夠自由運用空間中的角落來創作。



以白、灰色為主的沉穩色調，搭配木紋的溫潤質感，將風、光、綠意共融在環境中，

結合設計工作室與居住空間的改造，保持開放彈性而不侷限的格局思考，

空間裝載著我們對於在家工作的態度與想像樣貌!
