The package design of "Li" aims to celebrate the origin of Chinese beer brewing history found in Yangshao cultural site and pay tribute to China's long-standing brewing culture. The design concept is based on the product characteristics and emphasizes its traditional brewing recipe. "Li" is made according to the traditional Chinese Liquor brewing recipe from about 5,000 years ago, combined with the modern beer brewing technology and raw materials, which strives to promote Chinese beer brewing culture. The shape of the bottle is derived from the Shuang-Er-Ni-Yu (salamander fish) pattern pottery bottle unearthed in Yangshao culture site of the Neolithic Age. On this basis, it also takes into account the modern liquor filling production process, thereby forming the novel bottle shape of "Li". The carvings on the bottle resemble the common patterns on the artifacts of Yangshao Culture site, including triangle patterns, water ripples and cross breaks. All of them embody auspiciousness. The ancient “Li” has been reinvigorated in modern times. The brand symbol "Li" word adopts the Chinese character with the corresponding meaning referring to the mellow liquor, and it utilizes the font of oracle bone inscriptions, highlighting the ancient charm while conforming to the modern art. In addition, the capacity of the bottle is 999ml, which implies the eternity in Chinese culture. Meanwhile, the brand symbol “Li” character has the same pronunciation with another Chinese character, which means the etiquette and present in English. It is the “Li” that boosts/complete the social etiquette, which makes the “Li” a precious gift for distinguished people.
