Hainan Youth Sharing Growth Space

The commercial space in this case is located in Haikou, Hainan, with an area of 580㎡, which is developed by Hainan Youth TV and Maizi Language, and designed by Zhuwu Design with dedication. It is a space for art, learning, and growth, mainly including the reception area, classrooms, leisure reading area, ladder reading area, comprehensive workspace, water bar, terrace and so on. During the design process, the designer has re-examined the relationship between people and space, location and space, explored the possibility of using scenes in space under different demands, creating a different shared space to feel the charm of art, learning and reading.

The reception desk area enters the field of vision with a light and bright modern style, and the background wall with jumping colors highlights the key points and strengthens the brand. Entering the corridor from the reception area, the functional areas are divided into two categories, one is a shared area for rest and reading, and the other is a classroom area for teaching use.

The basic considerations for classroom design are the program characteristics, age of students, and the capacity. In addition to following the rule of the neat and bright elements of a classroom, detail processing are specifically made to carry out space differentiation of the classroom in accordance with different learning demands.

The penetrating combination of the bar and several leisure reading areas presents the design's thinking on the relationship between people and space. Meanwhile, simple artistic elements are incorporated, bookshelves are arranged around with reading tables and chairs in the center, creating a focused and free reading space. The whole art center integrates reading, education, leisure, TALK, movie viewing and other scenes, revealing the openness and sharing of modern life, and the state of people connect close and freely in the space with harmonious coexistence.

Designers have taken advantage of the excellent natural lighting in a smart manner to create a transparent and bright workspace, using transparent glass and blinds. Openness and privacy are created, encouraging the employees to study and discuss in a comfortable and natural atmosphere.
