Shui Liu Shan Ming

The overall style of the project is gentle and simple rather than complicated. The designer uses a large area of latex paint, stone paint and other environmental protection materials, which saves a lot of cost for the owner while retaining the design materials most close to the nature of the texture, creating a natural and cozy atmosphere.
As for the design of the welcome lobby, the designer takes running water as the clue, and combines black cobblestones, landscape stones, the fountain and so forth to create a large-scale landscape installation, echoing with the theme of immortal’s spirit. The shape of the optical fiber lamp on the top is like continuous running rain, and the extended lines connect the space landscape into a whole, forming a poetic picture scroll of distant mountains and light rains.
As for this case, the designer focuses on the use of light to mobilize the environment. With the changing of customers' movement, the lighting near the counter meal area becomes more implicit. The use of semi-transparent screen and coarse bricks seems to make the light into small pieces of light and shadow, diffusing on the plain background wall. A large and rich shade makes the space more empty and quiet, providing customers a sense of leisure when sitting alone and drinking at night.
There is a large blank area on the wall and the top surface. The floating light of the BE Water Lamp looks like water waves under the cover of the vitreous bricks. There’s a lifting lamp device above the table. With the change of height, it can present different temperature and texture, adding the space a unique interest.
Following with the guidance of the light, we now enter into the corridor. The designer uses structural techniques to break the shackles of part of the relationship between volumes, and integrates natural elements into the building to highlight the healing power of vegetation. As for the whole design, the designer abandons complex decorations, but bases on his unique aesthetic taste and cultural heritage to endow the project with more humanistic connotation.
